QLD Yamaha Girl's Team rider Tamara Gray claimed three from three moto wins and the Icon Lineboring holeshot prize at the weekend's Gladstone Observer Spectacular in the senior women's open class.
The event which boasts the biggest prize money on the east coast included the women's class in it's second year of running. With numbers not quite what they were expecting, the class was combined with the master's division.
With the warm, prime track conditions, Gray was untouchable in the women's ranks despite being under effect from a virus, which saw her withdraw from also racing in the Intermediate Lites division.
"I was feeling a little worse for wear today especially with the warmer weather. I was a bit disappointed that I wasn't up to racing the Lites class as well".
"The track was in such great condition and i was really looking forward to the competition in the Lites class".
Gray wasn't entirely unchallenged in her racing, ensuring that she gave the master's division a run for indeed their money. The commentator made point of girls and ladies roosting the men and the enjoyment it brings for the women and spectators.
